Juanita Elizabeth Chapman Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1932 - 2013 Juanita Elizabeth Chapman, 80, of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born October 5, 1932 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Charley and Nora White Basenback. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charley Chapman, Jr; grandson Shawn Ramey; great grandson Colton Ramey; six sisters Opal Casto, Molly Stapleton, Madeline Kipp, Beaulah Drake, Thelma Byers, and Edith Lambert; two brothers Charles Basenback and William Basenback. She is survived by two daughters Patricia Ramey of Huntington, WV and Sharon (Greg) Stiltner of Huntington, WV; five grandchildren Bridget (Eric) Grant of Florence, SC, Bethany (Nate) Osbourne of Huntington,WV, Gregg (Johnna) Stiltner of Huntington,WV, David (Teresa) Ramey of Loudon, TN and Derek Ramey of Fishers, IN; six great grandchildren Ciera (Timothy) Norvell of Arlington,VA, Joshua Trimble and Justin Trimble of Lebanon,KY, Jawndavid Stiltner of Elkview, WV, Dakota Stiltner and Shelbe Rowe both of Huntington, WV; one great great grandchild Laci Norvell of Arlington, VA.; and a special niece Diane Conley of South Point, Ohio. She worked at St. Marys Medical Center in Huntington, WV for 33 years. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. We have known Juanita all our lives and what a great neighbor she was along with Charley before his passing. She was always in high spirits and loved having her over on the warm days to set down on the porch and talk.We concider her not only as a great neighbor but as family. She always put a smile on our faces everytime we had the oppurtunity to talk with her.As we pray for the family of Mrs.Chapman we will always remember and miss the times we had with her.She will never be forgotten.
