Jack Edward Mills, 82, of Silsbee died January 21, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Jack was born in Beaumont, Texas on January 17, 1931. He graduated from South Park High School in 1948. He earned a degree in Business from Texas A M C in 1952. He retired from BF Goodrich in 1988.
He married Barbara Wilson April 12, 1953. They missed their 60th anniversary by 2 months and 22 days.
He is survived by daughters Deborah Lynn Mills Scalf and husband Dempsey of Port Neches, Stephanie Ann Mills Cowart of Lumberton and Lisa Gail Mills Pilkington and husband Kevin of Houston. Grandchildren Aaron Scalf and wife Stacey, Zachary Scalf and fiance Nora, Jillian Scalf Frost and husband Adam, Austin Cowart, Mallory Cowart, Kate Dearing Fowler and husband Stephen, Kristin Dearing, Mathew Pilkington and Samantha Pilkington. Great grandchildren Tristan and Ashton Scalf, Zander Frost and Sophia Scalf and beloved cat Mr. Tom.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hardy and Mildred Mills, son-in-law Gar Cowart and great grandson Noah Frost.
Service times are - Visitation at 5 p.m., Vigil at 7 p.m. at Farmers Funeral Home, Silsbee, TX on Wednesday, January 23rd and Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marks Catholic Church, Silsbee, TX on Thursday, January 24th.
The family would like to thank Dr. Colgon and his staff for their devotion and loving care of our precious Husband and Dad for the last 15 years.
