Imogene S. Templeton, 86, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Thursday January 24, 2013 at home. She was born August 1, 1926 in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late Owen and Inez Nance Stephens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy A. Templeton; son Randy Templeton; three brothers Jack, Dick, and Owen Stephens; and three sisters Opal Butcher, Nancy South, and Ouida Templeton Johnson. She was a member of Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher from 1966-1987. Imogene is survived by a daughter-in-law Kathleen D. Templeton of Arnold, Missouri ; two grandchildren Alison L. (Matthew) Jones of Mt. Holly, NC and Kirk S. (Michelle) Templeton of Kamas, Utah; three great grandchildren Liam Jones, and Silas and Hope Templeton; one sister Wykle VanPelt of Crown City, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including two special cousins Mary and Dale Burcham of Chesapeake, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday January 28, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Mark Roach. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday January 27, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be to Mt.
