Betty Darlene Stephens Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1936 - 2013 Funeral services for Betty Darlene Stephens, 76, of Fred will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stephens died January 28, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. She was a native of San Augustine and resident of Fred. She is preceded in death by husband Ernest Eugene Stephens and son Eugene Stephens. Survivors include four sons Sherman Stephens and wife Aline of Fred, Virgil Stephens and wife Maureen of Fred, Thomas Stephens of Fred and David Stephens and his wife Vicki of Warren; two daughters Cindy Gonzales and husband Caleb of Spring and Rachel Wholiab and husband Doug of Alvin; one brother Leon Bridges of Nacogdoches and one sister Dorothy Anderson of Lumberton; twelve grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.

To the children of Betty Stephens: I wish to tell you all how sorry I am to hear of your Mother's passing. I knew her years ago when I was a young girl. Wish she could have come back to San Augustine (Norwood) community for a reunion before her going home to be our Lord. I would like to take this time to invite all of you to come be with us on the first Sat in May or the first Sun afternoon in Oct for your Parker reunions. Feel free to e-mail me at anytime.
