Dear Diane and all the Casey family, I'm so shocked and saddened to hear of the Danny's passing. Me n wife were just talking about the little outfit you brought to the hospital when our son was born. I loved having Danny as my banjo student. I can hear him singing "down the road" right now. He loved playing n singing. Fond memories. :)

Dear Diane, I am Sam Interdonato and I worked with Danny at South Point H.S. in 1976- 1978. I returned to my hometown Beckley, WV that year. I wanted to offer you my sympathy and prayers. Danny was very helpful and friendly. I came up to your house for a visit one time. Katie keeps in touch. She sent me this news about Danny. I wish you and your family the best.

I am truly sad for the loss of Danny. I have known him since elementary school and honestly want you to know that he was probably the nicest and most caring person I know. When I ran in to him a few years back it was obvious that he loved life, The Lord, his family and coaching. I am so sorry for your loss.

Diane and Family; I can't tell how shocked that I was to learn of Danny's passing! Please accept my condolences and most heartfelt sadness at this time of deep grief. After I got to know Danny better through our mutual friend, Phil Smith, I learned what a good man and all around good person that Danny was. His contributions to the community at large and Fairland Schools in particular, will always be crowning achievements for Danny and a source of great pride for all of you! May God Bless!

Diane, I want you to know what an influence Danny was on me. I first met him when I was in 7th grade and decided that I wanted to start lifting weights. He was so hard on us but he made me develop an interest in exercise and fitness that led me to becoming a physical therapist. I also played football in high school (graduated in 98)and spent most my practice time with him since he was the line coach. What influenced me the most was when he came back to coaching (after what I think was a heart attack) and how all he could talk about was how God had healed him and changed his life. Looking back now, I am sure that this was very difficult given the environment that he was in. Your husband was the kind of coach that wasn't in it just so we would win the conference, he truly wanted us to be better men. I was lucky to connect with him and Facebook and got to tell him how he helped to make me the man that I am today. My prayers are with you and your family.

Diane- Danny will be sorely missed. My children adored him and held him up so high. Recently he gave Carley some advise and she went to read it to me after we heard. You should be so proud to have been married to such a good and morale man. We will miss him! Love and prayers to you and your family.
