Geraldine E. Pigman, 95, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Rivers Bend Health Center, South Point, Ohio. She was born April 11, 1917 in Athalia, Ohio daughter of the late William and Fenton Mae DeFoor Hoover. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Geareld Pigman; two brothers Hobart and Russell Hoover; and grandson Nathan Waggoner. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and a member of Proctorville Teresa Chapter # 257 OES. She is survived by one son Bill and Denise Pigman of Proctorville, Ohio; and one daughter Carolyn and Michael Waggoner of Proctorville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Greg Inboden. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Bob and I would like to send you our condolences in the loss of your Dear Mother, Geraldine. I am so sorry we were not able to come to the visitation,I have been sick and did not see the obituary in the paper. Your mother was an extra special lady. I only knew Ms. Pigman a short time. While she was a resident at RBHC, she had meals every day with my Grandma. I thought she was the cutest and sweetest lady. My dad told me she was his elementary school cook in the cafeteria. What a wonderful lady. I will miss seeing her. RIP Geraldine!
