Dear Alice. I am so sorry to know that we will no longer have your sweet dear husband with us. I am so blessed that I know Fred and will miss his wonderful smile and presence at the Marshall football games. It was always a joy to see you guys there. We certainly shared some good times. I am out of town and will not be back in time for the funeral. I will be in touch. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Sharon

Dear Alice and family
I was very sad when I heard of Fred's passing. He was such a good person and a wonderful teacher. Even now I feel I should call him Mr. Whitley. I know words cannot comfort but God can. I will be praying that He will give you comfort and strength daily to face whatever lies ahead for you. May God bless you, is my prayer.
Love
