Mulford Harry Bud Meadows, Jr., 70, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born January 7, 1943 in Charleston, WV son of the late Woodrow and Evelyn Burnette. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife Sharon Meadows; three sons Mulford, III (Kathy) Meadows, Michael Meadows and Matthew (Melanie) Meadows; two daughters Melissa Pointer and Elizabeth Wilson; 15 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother Ted Meadows; two sisters Janet Hudnall and Jeannie Burnette; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Rockwood Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Ohio. He was U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War and a member of the V.F.W. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Duane Smith. American Legion Post 93, Kenova, WV will conduct military rites. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

To my family I wish to extend my deep sympathy and love, and to our friends a heartfelt thank you. Uncle Buddy could make anyone laugh. My fondest memories are of him visiting my mother Ruth and how he would tell stories and make us cry with laughter. He will be sorely missed.
