Donald M. Thompson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1945 - 2013 Donald M. Thompson, 67, of South Point, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born May 15, 1945 in Lawrence County, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents Hilton and Alice Thompson; his sister Janet Simpson; cousin Diane Burcham; and his grandson Jordan. Don and Carolyn had three children Billy Thompson and finance Margie; Becky Thompson Dennis, Ruthie (Roger) Coleman all of South Point, Ohio; five grandchildren Austin, Jordan, Davon, Miranda and Trinity. He is also survived by his twin brother Danny (Juanita) Thompson of Scottown, Ohio; and many special friends and family. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Darrell Fowler. Visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family. Carolyn and Danny, so so sorry to hear about Don. Hadn't seen him in many years. Mother and Daddy was so fond of Alice and Hilton and Don and Danny. I have many happy memories of staying with Alice and Hilton and seeing all the family. Mother always loved the fact that Don and Danny and she were born on May 15th. Your family will certainly be in our thoughts and prayers. Just cherish those precious memories. Love to all! Gina

I love my daddy he was my father,friend,daddy and hero! He was the strongest man I know he was no stranger to pain he fought so hard to make everyone happy my daddy may be gone but never forgotten! There is nothing in the world this man couldn't do I am so proud to call him my daddy! I love you dad your smile and your jokes will forever live within Bill Ruthie and myself!
