1944 - 2013
 Daniel Joe Bane, a humble man of tremendous faith, beloved Christian husband, dad, d-dad, brother, and friend went to meet Jesus. In addition to his wife Nancy, and his brother Eddie and sister-in-law Patty, his legacy includes his precious children and grandchildren: Dan, Melissa, Taylor Bane, and Christopher Rauhecker, Mickey, Kim, Cheyenne, Nick, and Jayden Bane, Lee Anna, Craig, Alaina, and Carter Collins, Chris, Lorie, Sydney, and Brady Bane, and Steve, Marie, Nathan, and Olivia Wilkes. Dan was born on April 30, 1944, son of Charles and Edith Bane. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Proctorville, Ohio, and retired from Special Metals. Dan especially requested that instead of flowers, donations be given to First Baptist Church of Proctorville to further Gods work, or to Hospice of Huntington to help with their wonderful services. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, graveside services following at Rome Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall. |

Please accept my sincere sympathy for the great loss your family has experienced. I worked with Dan for many years at Special Metals and considered him a good friend. We used to bowl together years ago.
I am sure that knowing that Dan is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is great comfort. I will continue to keep the entire family in my prayers. May God richly bless your family with his presence and comfort.

I was so sorry to hear about Danny. He was 2 yrs ahead of me in school and I always thought highly of him. I sold Danny a couple of cars over the last few years and we always talked over "old times" Please accept my condolences.

I has the good fortune to meet Dan about 10 years ago with the "Lunch Bunch" where we never sat down to eat unless Dan first blessed the food. He was one of God's special angels, and he will be missed. My condolences to Nancy and the rest of the family.

Nancy and family, We are so sorry for your loss of Dan. He has won his race and is now celebrating with the angels. What a sight that must be. Dan was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. He and Jerry were going through their cancer and chemo at the same time and they were always sharing their experiences with each other. It meant a lot to Jerry. He was a very good friend. we at medical specialty clinic was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Bane. It was such a pleasure to see him when he was in for his appoitments and to talk to him. He was a very nice and considerate man and a joy. May God bless you all and take care of you in your time of need. Mr. Bane will we missed.
