John Arthur Moore Jr., 55, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday March 7, 2013 at Holzer Medical Center Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born July 13, 1957 in Huntington, WV to the late John Arthur Moore, Sr. and Clara Dempsey Moore of Huntington, WV. He was a former employee of BFI and A&A Sanitation. He is also survived by his wife Patricia Moore; four children Schuyler Moore, Jonathan (Annie) Elliott, Melissa (Jason) Mullens, and Donald Moore; seven grandchildren Jacob, Joshua, Jayden Elliott, Makaylah Harrison, Jase Mullens, Ashlee Dawn Blankenship, and Abigail Moore; sister Patricia Olah; brother William (Brandi) Moore; uncles Jack Moore and Larry (Gisela) Moore; aunts Joyce (Baron) Atkins and Emily (Louis) Sharp; mother-in-law and father-in-law Clara and Dallas Crabtree; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jeffrey (Malinda) Moore. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Sunday March 10, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio. John was such a good fella.. I will certainly miss his humor and outlook on life. I am happy that I got to know both of you thru his visits to the cancer center. Take care of yourself as you will need time to heal... I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Gob bless you.

I have come to not fear death. For the faithful, it is the reward that God has promised and Jesus died for us. To those left behind there is pain and sorrow...but God will comfort their souls and bring them peace. God bless you at this time.
