1916 - 2013
Wynette Waugh Hayes, age 97, of Huntington, passed away at home on April 5, 2013. Born in Caledonia, Ohio on March 23, 1916, she was preceded in death by her parents Orville S. and Margaret M. Hinds Waugh; and an infant brother Robert Hinds Waugh. She is survived by her son Walter E. Gene Hayes; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren Rebecca E. (Donald C.) Wallen and their daughter Gabby, and Rebeccas son Matthew K. Hayes of Prichard, WV, Jeffrey W. (Denise C.) Hayes and their children Jackson and Jessica of Dumfries, VA, Kimberly K. (Jason E.) Fritz of North Chesterfield, VA and their children Morgan, Logan and Adam; also left behind is Mandy her beloved canine beagle companion. She worked for more than 30 years, as a secretary, for the architectural firm of Walter S. Donat. A private graveside service at the Waugh Family Cemetery is planned.
