Linda was inspiring in her devotion to God and her family. She seemed to always have her family in mind when she made any decision. She will be greatly missed by the Nabors family and the family of Faith Assemlby in Lumberton.

Leisa, Pat, Mike: my heart is with you, even though I cannot be with you at this time of great loss. I have vivid memories of your Mom in our early years, cooking, laughing, chasing you kids. My heart is heavy, but I KNOW she is happy. Love you all...

Leisa, Mike, Pat and Shauna-my prayers are with you all. Aunt Linda was such a fun, lively person. I have many happy memories of the times during our childhood when you all lived down the street from us. Aunt Linda was always into something--thinking of fun things to do or just hanging around the house making ice cream, home-made corn dogs, or cooking outside. I am fortunate to have had her as my aunt and will miss her. You should be very proud that you enabled your Mom to die at home where she could be close to all of you and her little dog. We will see Aunt LIinda again!

Leisa, Shauna, Mike, & Pat I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. Mothers are such a special person in our lives. Having known Linda for many years, I know how much she loved each of you. I know Linda is in a better place - a place where she was ready to be. I pray God's blessings and peace on each of you in your sorrow. Love, Sandra Melton
