I'm so sorry for your loss of Robert. He was such a good friend to my late husband Howard "Howie" Cornette. As Randy Smith, Greg Michael, and Glenny Kouns has already mentioned. (Bob, give Howie a big hug for me, he too was taken from us too soon). May God comfort and bless your family at this time. He was a good and close friend. Love and prayers, Janet Langdon-Cornette-Thompson.

I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't know Robert. Growing up with him, we shared so many great times, laughs and tears. You were such a part of my life from wiffle ball games, backyard basketball, camping out on the river bank, to everything in school. The old Train Bridge Gang. You were a great friend. I love you Big Bird, thanks for helping to make me who I am. Give a big hug to Fred, Howard, Terry, Al, Dreama, Linda and the others from the class of 73 for me.

This space is too limited for me to list all the good times we had running around. Robert was always happy and had the best attitude about everything. He never knew a stranger. I was so fortunate to have him as a friend. My sympathies are with the family.

Merriam-Webster defined a friend as, "one attached to another by affection or a favored companion."
As I think of Robert, all of those wonderful memories start flooding back.
Robert was a loyal and favored friend to many in our community. We were blessed to be able to grow up in such a wonderful place.
I will remember all the wonderful times spent playing cards in the garage and sharing good times with Robert, Roberta, Joy, Mary Helen, Auntie Gladys, and Mr. & Mrs Winters.
I hope our Lord gives you peace, love, and fond memories of a good friend.
Glenn, Tina, and Linsey Kouns
