 Geneva Bryant, 66, of Scottown, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at her home. She was a homemaker and loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was born January 13, 1947 in Shively, WV daughter of the late Wallace and Ruby Ellis Bryant. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ira Bryant; a daughter Coleen Bryant; a sister Kay Bryant; step sons Leslie and Ira Kendall Bryant; three brothers-in-law Gary Collins, John Allen, and Howard Spurlock; three half- sisters; and five half-brothers. She is survived by five children Ira Joe (Jeannette) Bryant of Scottown, Ohio, Delano (Mary) Bryant of Scottown, Ohio, Pamela (Tom) Bradley of Proctorville, Ohio, Christina (James) Gorby of Scottown, Ohio, and Roy (Pid) Bryant of Ona, WV; four step children Delmer (Charlotte) Bryant of Plain City, Ohio, Odell (Sandy) Bryant of Lessburg, FL, Barbara (John) Bias of Chapmanville, WV and Carol (Benny) Adams of Harts, WV.; 12 grandchildren Felicia and Colleen Bryant, Tiffany Holly, Amber and Faith Bryant, Brandon and Casidy Bradley, Erica Roller, Emily and Cara Gorby and Tember Wilfong; two great grandchildren Channing Joe and Frank, Jr; one brother Wallace, Jr (Vicky) Bryant; 8 sisters Myrtle Collins, Annetta (Jimmy) Martinez, Carmella Bryant, Arnett (Jerry) Williams, Eva (Gary) Workman, Bertha Allen, Lawanna Spurlock and Sharon Bryant; many nieces and nephews; and caregiver Beth Krauze. Funeral service will be conducted 2 P.M. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Carl Black. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall. |

Geneva was one of my patients at work.. I looked forward to seeing her on her appts.. I have to admit. She was a favorite. I will miss seeing her in our office.. prayers to her family and caretaker
