Funeral services for David "Cannonball" Vaughn Herrington, 60, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Herrington passed away April 27, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
"Cannonball" was a native and lifelong resident of Silsbee. He worked as a pipefitter at Mead Westvaco in Evadale.
He is preceded in death by his parents Vaughn and Lavell Herrington and sister Frances Billingsley.
Survivors include his wife Cindy Herrington of Silsbee; sons David Herrington, Jr. of Lufkin, Clifton Herrington and Christopher Herrington both of Kountze; daughters Cindi Michele McClelland of Kountze, Heather Maine of New York, Nicole Gibson of Beaumont, Jennifer Kelly of Port Orchard, Washington and Megan Haston of Great Lake, Illinois; brothers Rickey Herrington and Charles Herrington both of Silsbee; sister Linda Jones of Kirbyville and ten grandchildren.
