John was always happy-go-lucky, I have alot of fond memories of him. I am sorry I didnt make it over to see him. My heart goes out to the whole family during this time of grief. May the wonderful memories of the life and love you all shared with John comfort you in the days ahead. Peggy Galloway

I am so sorry to hear about John. I know its been a very difficult time for you all. I remember when I was little he always teased me by showing me his finger "that came apart". I remember once, it had been awhile since we had visited them. We were in the car, and I heard Mom and Dad saying that we were going to see John and Rose Mary. I looked over at Patrick in the backseat and he was simply looking out the window watching the world go by as we were driving down the road and I realized I was the only one in a panic because we were going to see "that man whose finger comes apart". I sat in the living room and the adults were in the kitchen table talking. We had been there awhile and thought I was off the hook, until I saw John and my Dad coming toward me, and John showed me that finger again. I just could never figure out how it kept coming apart and why he couldnt get it "fixed". I look back and laugh at those memories. We all are too busy to find the time these days to visit with loved ones (like Mom and Dad taught us), or just let them know how much they mean to us no matter how far or near they may be. I pray that those precious memories you have of Johnny be foremost in your heart and mind along with the wonderful promise that Jesus made at John 5:28,29.....Christina, Hope, Victoria, Garrett, Faith
