During the holiday season, I always take time to reflect those people that I knew and cared about that have left us during the year. I thought about Tom this evening and just had to put it in writing. Tom, I miss you and hope Ann and Sherri are doing ok. You are a good guy and some time in the future I will be sharing laughs with you and others they I have missed. RIP Tom. and Merry Christmas.

Dear Ann and Family: On behalf of the Bache crew I wish to offer our sincerest condolences during this time of sorrow. As time moves on, so too, do our beloved shipmates... Leaving behind friends and loved ones... To mourn and grieve their loss... To fondly reminisce... Of times gone by only too quickly... May the winds forever be softer, the seas calmer... As they weigh anchor and venture forth on their new voyage... The Men of the USS BACHE Salute... Tom Cooper BMSN 1961 1963

We always looked forward to your visits to PA every summer and hearing about your recent or upcoming trips, Marshall football, and the kids' accomplishments. Ann, Sheri, and Family, I am so very, very sorry on the passing of Tom! He was always a good friend, a great neighbor, and an overall really good man. You all have every right and expectation of being very proud of all that Tom accomplished and his grandchildren will remember him fondly and with great devotion for the rest of their lives! May God be with you all in this time of grief and great pain.

Ann and Sherri, Diane and I were stunned about Tom's passing. Even living in Florida, Diane and I would talk about old times and the fun and memories we had at the Elks. Tom was a big part of those happy days. We have been away from Huntington 4 years and one of the things I miss most was tailgating and watching the Herd. It was always nice seeing Tom and Ann and chatting a few minutes in the West lot before kickoff. I will miss Tom....he was a great guy to be around. I will always cherish and honor his memory. God bless you and Sherri during this most difficult time. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers...just wish we could do more. Ron and Diane, Amelia Island, Florida
