Orva Aldine Collins Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1918 - 2013 Orva Aldine Collins, 94, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Saturday June 1, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. She was born December 9, 1918 in Wayne County, WV daughter of the late George and Caroline Bowen. She was also preceded in death by her husband Odell T. Collins; brothers Edgar, Jay, and Mackey Bowen; sisters Charlene Parella, Alma Rucker, Maxine Murphy, and Mary Stokes. She is survived by her daughter Sharon K. Collins; son and daughter-in-law Thern Ray and Kristine Collins all of Chesapeake, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and a special great niece Breana Cooper of Chesapeake, Ohio. She graduated from Chesapeake High School in 1936. Before becoming a homemaker, during World War II she made shells in Jacksonville, FL and also worked at Blue Jay Manufacturing Co. and Sylvania Co. in Huntington, WV. By her request there will be no visitation, and a private family graveside service will be held at Rome Cemetery Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any childrens hospital of your choice or to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Sharon & Thern, my thoughts & prayers are with you. I loved Aldine and some of my fondest memories are with her & Odell! And you two of course! Spending the night. Picnics, watermelons & corn. :)) I love you all!!

Sharon and TR, sorry for your loss. I have good memories of Aunt Aldine, going out in the country and having picnics or when she would let me clean her purse out and of course I would always find money. She lived a long life. praying for you, Love Jan,
