James Cecil Newman Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1920 - 2013 James Cecil Newman, 92, of Quincy, died at 9:00 AM Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at his home. He was born June 24, 1920, in Quincy, a son of the late Marion Lewis and Clara Viola Kendall Newman. On July 16, 1939, he married Frances Irene Smith in De Graff and she died January 30, 2009. He was also preceded in death by six Brothers; Carl, Robert, Gerald, Wilbur, Junior Newman and an Infant brother and two Sisters; Phillyis Smith and Lois Weber. Survivors include a Son; Michael Newman of Quincy, a Daughter; Bonnie L., two Grand Children; Michael Scott Duke and Allison Duke and two Sisters; Ann (Robert) Turner and Betty Stryker both of Quincy. He was a 1938 graduate of Quincy High School and worked as a machinist at Monarch Machine and Tool in Sidney. There will be no services and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Quincy. Arrangements were handled by Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, De Graff.
