A memorial service for Frank Martin 'Marty' Booker Jr, 57, of Lumberton, will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Booker died June 26, 2013 at his residence.
A native of Newton, he lived in Vidor for 26 years and moved to Lumberton 4 years ago. He was a Manager at Hush Puppy Restaurant in Vidor and for several Wyatt's Cafeterias in the Golden Triangle. Marty had a green thumb and could grow just about any plant.
Marty was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Glendora McEwin Booker; sister Louise Booker Hale and dear friend of 26 years Jean McNeil.
Survivors include his children, Travis Martin Booker and Lea Heather Booker; brothers Hayne Booker and partner Steven Rea of Lumberton and David Booker and wife Marianella of Humble and sisters Barbara Strawther and husband James and Rebecca Smith of Lumberton.
