Doris Ann Keeney, 78, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born September 23, 1934 in Hogsett, WV daughter of the late Luther and Maggie Ramey Burd. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Jerry Keeney; two brothers Joe Lee Burd and Charles Ray Burd. She was a member of the Athalia Dillon Independent Church. She is survived by one daughter Bobby Ann Keeney of Lexington, KY; two sons Bruce Keeney of Proctorville, Ohio and Gregory Keeney of Chesapeake, Ohio; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Miller Cemetery, Miller, Ohio by Pastor Ervin Napier. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Church of your choice. Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
