Delores Ann Murphy, 61, of Huntington, WV passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center, Huntington, WV. She was born January 2, 1952 in Proctorville, Ohio daughter of the late Clarence and Goldie Walters Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Shane Murphy; and one brother Clarence Jones. She is survived by one daughter Julie Murphy; one son Paul Jason Murphy; four grandchildren Nicholas Tubbs, Jayla Murphy, Jordan Jeter, and Jaylen Adaway; one sister Betty Walters; two brothers Jeff Jones and Michael Jones; special friend Floyd Miller; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Eddie Salmons. There will be no visitation. Kent and I send our deepest and sincere sympathy to Delores' family. Delores took wonderful care of Dr. Jack Morrill. We always were able to relax and feel secure when Jack was in her care. She became like family to us and we will never forget her.

Julie, wish I could be there to hug you. Your mom never got one moments peace when we were teenagers! But I know she has peace now. I love you and I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your mom so much and she will be greatly missed. Know my prayers are with you and your family.

Julie ,I'm so sorry for Ur loss ,I know that u and Ur momma was best friends ,she was such a great lady and I will miss her dearly as well ,we was going to come for the visitation but I seen u wasn't havin one,So we couldn't come ,we didn't have anyone to pick Andrew up from work ,Julie I really miss u Hon and If u wanna get away or anything u r welcome to come stay with us ,it would b nice to spend time with u and the kids .im leaving u my number if u need to call or just can't sleep please call me ,u know we use to b so close and I miss u it's 740-703-3570 we live in Chillicothe now give me a call sometime and maybe we could do lunch when I come in town .
