Lucille McKeown Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1917 - 2013 Funeral services for Lucille Jaehne McKeown, 95, of Silsbee will be 1:00 pm Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. McKeown died July 30, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Lebo, TX, she was a long time resident of Silsbee. Mrs. McKeown was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church in Silsbee and served in the PTA when her children were in school. Lucille was a Stanley Home Products Representative for fifty years. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl Robert and Jessie Bozarth Jaehne and husband Doyle McKeown Sr. Survivors include sons Doyle McKeown Jr of Silsbee, Thomas McKeown and wife Janice of Silsbee and Jess McKeown and wife Monica of Hankamer; sister Frances Fritcher of Giddings; nine grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and seven great, great grandchildren.

My thoughts and prayers are with the McKeon family. Lucille was one of the first people that I met when we moved to Silsbee in 1976. Such a lovely lady who led with her heart. May God's peace be with you.
