Oneda Faye Simpson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1931 - 2013 Funeral services for Oneda Faye Simspson of Fred will be 1:00 pm Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Franks Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 until service time. Mrs. Simpson died August 25, 2013 at Silsbee Convalescent Center. Faye was native of Fred, lived in Mid-County for many years before moving back to Fred. While living in Mid-County she worked at Rodneys Food Mart in Port Neches. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth William Simpson, parents Dick and Pearl Callaway, brother Leo Callaway and two sisters Mildred Yawn and Betty Smith. Left behind to cherish her memories are sons, Wayne Simpson of Fred, James Simpson and wife Carolyn of Groves, Johnny Simpson and wife Sharol of Colmesneil; sisters Dolly Gordon and Carolyn Hoffman, both of Silsbee; grandchildren Kerri May, Kristi Dupuis, Jered Simpson, Kayla Cutler; great grandchildren McKenzie May, Olivia Dupuis, Owen Dupuis and was expecting a new grandson in October.

Had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Faye at the Silsbee Conv. Home. She was a ray of sunshine and always made our visits with our Dad special. Our Dad, Dewitt Graham is a resident at the home. She was such a joyous, human being and she will be truly missed by her family and friends. So thankful to have gotten to know Faye, AKA, Queen of the Valentine party.
