Jason Mathais Steger, 36, of South Point, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born June 9, 1977 in Huntington, WV son of Nancy Thacker Steger of Chesapeake, Ohio and the late Reynold Steger, Sr. In addition to his mother he is survived by three daughters Cameron Waggnore (John) of Grayson, Ky, Kyra Steger of Greenup, KY and Kiersten Steger of Greenup, KY; one son Ethan M. Steger of Greenup, KY; five sisters Christle Suiter (Michael) of Chesapeake, Ohio, Samantha Ferguson of Chesapeake, Ohio, Heidi R. Hulschuh of Chesapeake, Ohio, Vanessa Fletcher of Zainesville, Ohio and Heidi Ann Steger of Zainesville, Ohio; two brothers Reynold Steger, Jr (Tabitha) of Chesapeake, Ohio and Michael Steger (Bonnie) of Germany; fiance Angela Adkins and her daughter Caylee of South Point, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Dan Watts. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

I worked with Jason in lawn & garden at walmart for a while. he was always willing to help everyone. he will be missed. prayers for your family. im so sorry for your loss.

Although, I never met Jason, I heard nothing but good about him. He was friends w/ my brother, Shawn and my met him a few times and said that he was a really nice guy. I hate to hear of his passing & please know that all of his family & friends have been in my prayers. Much love to all of you.

I didn't know Jason all that well, I was only around him a handful of times. However, whenever I wad around him, he was a fun guy that loved his family. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family, especially his kids, during this time of sorrow! May you soon find peace and comfort!
