Thelma Jean Henson Adkins, 67, of Huntington, WV passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born April 6, 1946 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Clarence and Amy Hardy Henson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Louise Reilly and Mae Vsetula; and three brothers Donald Henson, David Henson, and Mack Henson. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Jeanie and Maurice Nelson of Huntington, WV; one grandson Will Beckett of Huntington, WV; two brothers June (Caroline)Henson and Ralph (Betty) Henson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Eddie Salmons. Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio.
