Why doest thou weep? For I am but in the next room, patiently waiting for thee there. For I am but a breath away from you. Marjorie M. Ramey, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born May 5, 1925 in Blaine, KY daughter of the late Henry and Bessie Edwards Griffith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewie Ramey; and son Gordon Anthony Ramey. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Lewie Randall and Helen Ramey of Proctorville, Ohio; daughter-in-law Jeannie Ramey of Virginia Beach, VA; four grandchildren Kimberly (Jerry) Moore of Proctorville, Ohio, Susan Gebhardt of Proctorville, Ohio, Blaine Ramey of Orlando, FL and Chris (Jennifer) Ramey of Virginia Beach, VA; six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and one sister Betty Lou Whittaker of Prestonsburg, KY. She was affiliated with New Hope United Methodist Church, Proctorville, Ohio. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Sisters in Christ of New Hope United Methodist Church for their cards and baskets over the many years, to Hospice and Heartland of Riverview. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Dr. Thomas Malcolm. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home.
