Gary Lee "Chuck" Hoke, Sr. Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1944 - 2013 Gary Lee Chuck Hoke, Sr., 68, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born December 15, 1944 in Cabell County, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents Audrey and Lillian Hoke; his wife Violet Kay Hoke; one great grandchild Abigail Hunt; one brother; and two sisters. He is survived by four sons Gary (Amy) Hoke, Jimmy (Loletta) Hoke, Frank (Tammy) Hoke and Robert Hoke; one daughter Donna and James Dries; grandchildren Clifford and Mary Hoke, Christopher Hoke, Travis Hoke, Lexi Hoke, Clarissa Hoke, Trey Hoke, Kimberly and Chris Hunt, Stephen Hoke, Scott Hoke, Andy Hoke, Kaelin Hoke, Raven and Kaylyn Dries; one great grandson Christopher A. Hunt, Jr.; three sisters; one brother; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Brian Root. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held Noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

So sorry for your loss and my prayers are with the family of Chuck. I remember that he was always upbeat and trying to get others to laugh for he seemed to always tell funny jokes and could even laugh at himself That is a great quality to be able to do that. He will be missed.
