Brenda Jo Reed, 47, of Lumberton,

died October 2, 2013 at Village Creek Rehabilitation in Lumberton.

She was a native of Vernon Alabama. Brenda worked as a manager at Dairy Queen and Jack-in-the-box in Lumberton.

Survivors include her sons, Ernest Duval of Ashland Tennessee, Orval Chestnut of Lumberton, daughter, Summer McElhose of Lumberton, brother, Mark Atkins of Evadale, sisters, Judy Trahan of Lumberton, Betty Jones of Gulfport, Mississippi, Gale Brew of Columbus, Mississippi, and three grandchildren, Joseph, Emily and Abigail.

I worked with Brenda at Walgreens in Lumberton and we loved her to pieces. She was always making me laugh and giving me advice on different things. She will be missed! Love you Brenda!
