Phyllis Joy Strayer, 84, of De Graff, died at 4:07 PM Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Green Hills Center, West Liberty.
She was born December 3, 1928, in De Graff, a daughter of the late Harry L. and Hazel Marie Hubbard Nogle.
On May 4, 1946, she married Robert Myron Strayer in Covington, Kentucky and he died August 6, 2003. She was also preceded in death by two Brothers; Donald E. and Leroy Nogle and one Grandson; Michael D. Keaton, Jr.
Survivors include two Daughters; Vicki (Michael) Keaton of De Graff and Judy (James) Skinner of Hickory Corners, Michigan, a Sister; Sharon (Dean) Stickley of Monroe, North Carolina, two grandchildren; Crystal (Erron) Gilbert and Jeffrey (Jodi) Waters and two Great Grand Children; Avery and Shealan Waters.
She was a graduate of De Graff High School, a member of Rosewood United Methodist Church and was a retired assembler from the General Motors Corporation in Dayton, Ohio. She especially enjoyed spending time with family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, with Rev. Beverly Avers officiating. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.
