Barbara Ann Scarberry, 59, of Scottown, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013 at home. She was born July 11, 1954 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late William, Sr. and Lennie Barker Kipp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Mark Scarberry; granddaughters Ryleigh and Rhianna Cessna; and siblings Gary Gene Kipp, Betty Jane Kipp, William Kipp, Jr. and Janet Dennison. She is survived by one son Wayne Scarberry; one daughter Sarah (Todd) Call; and their father Michael Anthony Scarberry; three grandchildren Ryan Scarberry, Gregory and Catalina Call; siblings Richard Kipp, Paul Kipp, Robert Kipp, Larry Kipp, Mike Kipp, Frances Burcham, Carol McMasters, Dorothy Ward, Linda Ferris, Rosemary Mays, Sadie Pruitt, and Sheila Kipp; and many nieces and nephews. She attended McKinley Chapel Church. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Gordon Simpson officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Marys Medical Center Foundation for the benefit of the cancer center, 2900 1st Ave. Huntington, WV. 25702. Barb was a great Christian lady that would do just about anything to help anyone. She was one of my favorite aunts. Lots of memories made @ Beachfork Lake when my cousins & I were little. Barb will be greatly missed by so many people.

I was so sorry to read of Barbs death. I went to Symmes Valley with her & her siblings. She was a sweet lady, she will sincerely missed by all who knew her. I was glad to see she knew Jesus Christ, therefore shes in a better place. Shes in no more pain & shes in a body of new. I will pray for the family. God Bless all of you.My deepest sympathy go out to all her family.
