Christopher Clark Lyons Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1963 - 2013 Christopher Clark Lyons, 50, of Chesapeake, Ohio went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Saturday October 26, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. He was born July 19, 1963 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Betty Fletcher; and sister-in-law Susan Charles. He was an employee with the Herald Dispatch for over 30 years. He is survived by his mother Betty Lyons of Chesapeake, Ohio; wife Jamia Lyons; two sons Christopher Clark Lyons II and Jacob Lee Fletcher both of Chesapeake, Ohio; three brothers Bill Lyons of Greensboro, NC, Richard (Tina) Lyons of Atlanta, GA and Robert Lyons of Chesapeake, Ohio; four sisters Melody (Orville) Carte of Miami, FL, Laura (Phil) Black of Chesapeake, Ohio, Toni Lyons of Columbus, Ohio and Deanna (David) Whitman of Jacksonville, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, and uncles; father-in-law George Fletcher; brother-in-law Christopher (Lisa) Fletcher of Kermit, WV and sister-in-law Georgette (Andy) Lueker of Colorado. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday October 29, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Rod Justice. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday October 28, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Jamia, Christopher & Jacob along with Mom, Bill, Laura, Toni, Deanna, Richard & Robert & all kids I am so sorry that the whole family is going through this loss. Chris was very special, very strong and always with a smile. I know that God has him now and has healed his broken body. He is looking him in the face and smiling. I know he will be watching over each of us. And when you hear that whisper in the wind, or feel a presence know it is him watching over us and smiling upon us.
