1928 - 2013
Mildred Newman, 84, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House Huntington, WV. She was born December 19, 1928 daughter of the late Esker and Gertrude Fuller. She was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. Mildred was co-owner of Chet Newmans Garage. She was also preceded in death by her husband Chester Chet Newman; sister Avenell Fuller; an infant sister; and son-in-law Steve Curry. She is survived by one son, Harold (Melody) Newman; one daughter Donna K. Curry; three grandchildren Joseph Newman, Leslie (Kevin) Christian and Zachary Curry; and one great granddaughter Haleigh Newman. The family wishes to express a special thanks to her Senior Sunday school class for their love and prayers and also to Hospice of Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Wednesday October 30, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jeff Black. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday October 29, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

I am so very sorry for your loss..... I, unfortunately, cannot be there to offer my condolences due to other obligations..but wish I could. I hope you have so many happy memories to hold her close for years to come.....as I had in the case of my grandmother....
