Robert Kent Crews, Jr., 76, of Salt Rock, WV passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at CAMC-Memorial, Charleston, WV. He was born January 26, 1937 in Huntington, WV. He retired from International Nickel Plant, Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen Powell Crews. He is survived by his wife Lolita Joyce Crews; three sons Robert (Sue) Crews, III of Huntington, WV, Ronald L. (Beverly) Crews, Sr. of Huntington, WV and Richard Powell Crews of Las Vegas; four daughters Vera Frances (Walter) Walker of Columbus, Ohio, Helen Louise Cooper of Huntington, WV, Allysa Bythe Crews of Huntington, WV and Andrea Crews of Huntington, WV; numerous grand and great grandchildren; a special grandson Malakai Crews; three sisters Jean Mickens of Maryland, Shirley Pleasant of Burlington, Ohio, Sue (Jimmy) Howard of Burlington, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Information Referral located in the Cabell County Public Library for needy childrens Christmas Fund. So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a true gentleman and a friend to everyone. I'll always remember the silver dollar that he carried for so many years. My condolences to the family.

My sincere condolences go out to the entire Crews family. I fondly remember the times when Mr. Crews would play whiffle ball and baseball in the side yard with Robbie, Ronald, Ricci,the neighborhood boys,and sometimes Vera and Helen would play. I remember that Mr.Crews was always nice and kind to everyone.
