Mrs. Mills was a very special lady and my favorite teacher. She always had a sweet smile on her beautiful face.

I worked with Effie years ago in Christian woman's club and she was always the sweetest lady. She had a wonderful smile and a gentle way, and was an example of a Christian lady. Sorry for your loss, she was a real jewel.

Mrs. Mills will go in the history books as one of the greatest teachers that cared about her students and really made learning interesting and pleasurable. I will always cherish her memory at Chesapeake East. I'm thankful to have been taught by her. May she rest in peace as she is so deserving.

Mrs. Mills was my 5th grade reading teacher at Chesapeake East. She was a kind and giving teacher who always had time to give a helping hand. She will be greatly missed.
