Funeral services for James Aron White, 90, of Lumberton will be 10:00 am Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. White passed away November 16, 2013 at his residence in Lumberton.
James was a native of Lufkin and a resident of Lumberton for 40 years. He retired from the Lumberton ISD and the U S Air Force. He also served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years Myra White of Lumberton; sons James E. " Jim" White and wife Geneva of Lumberton and Gary White and wife Karen of Kyle, Texas; daughter Betty Gallier and husband Fred " Butch" of Ft. Worth; brother Eugene White of Oklahoma; sister Estelle Richmond of Burkeville; twelve grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
