Mark Allen KottMark A. Kott, 56, left this life on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in a Kerrville hospital. He was born on July 23, 1957 in Port Arthur, TX to Patricia (Purvis) and Melvin H. Kott Sr. He was a licensed plumber and worked for Holloway Plumbing in Kerrville. He was a bull rider and hunting guide for many years. He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and playing Disc golf. His passion was barbequing, watching football and spending time with his friends and family. Mark lived in the Hill Country his entire life and was affiliated with Southern Oaks Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia and Melvin Kott.

Mark is survived by his loving children, Greg Grinnan and wife Tracy of Kerrville, Scott Kott of San Antonio; sister, Deborah Poorman and husband Hal of Kerrville; brother, Melvin H. Kott Jr. and wife Jeannie of Kerrville; lifelong friend, Nick England of Kerrville; numerous nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by many other family members and friends, all whom loved him and will miss him greatly.

Memorial service will be 1pm, Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Southern Oaks Baptist Church, Kerrville with Dr. Joe Taylor, officiating the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marks name can be made to the Southern Oaks Baptist Church.

greg and tracy i am so sorry to hear about your loss. i was really shocked when i saw that mark had passed because i had just seen him getting a cup of coffee on the first day of hunting season and he was telling me how he needed to hurry up and finish his day at work because he needed to go hunting. my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
