Phyllis Jean Sue Elkins Turner, 65, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at home. She was born October 5, 1948 in Lawrence County, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother Emogene Elkins Shepard; her husband Henry Bill Turner; four sisters Margie Adkins, Ruth Elkins, Kay Poff and Goldie Messinger; and grandmother Anise Elkins. She is survived by two sons Robert Shawn (Kellie) Smith of Pennsylvania, and Rusty (Christa) Smith of Proctorville, Ohio; three grandchildren Shawn Michael (Christen) Smith, Amelia Dawn Smith, Baisley Breann Smith and finance Craig Wysong and Braylen Smith; one great grandchild Makayia Dawn Wysong; one step-son of Bill Turner of Brazil; one step-daughter Kerin Turner of Florida; three brothers Bobby Shepard, Bruce Shepard, and Billy Shepard all of Proctorville, Ohio; and two sisters Judy Shepard of Proctorville and Dianee Finley of Lesage, WV. She was a member of Rome Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Berkley Saunders. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio.
