Mabel Evelyn Thompson Lee Cantrell at the age of 76 passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at a Austin care center. She was born on November 21, 1937 in Natalia, Texas to Wilburn Thompson and Mabel "McCoy" Thompson. Mabel graduated as Salutatorian of the Natalia High School class of 1956. She married the late Buddy Gene Lee of Pearsall in 1958. After his death in 1979, she remarried to the late Clifford Cantrell in 1983. She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 husbands.
Mabel is survived by her 4 loving children Roxanne Price and husband Randy of Spicewood, Texas, Buddy Gene Lee Jr of Austin, Texas, Barry C. Lee of Seguin, Texas and Larry Lee and wife Virginia of Granger, Texas; 2 grandsons Matthew and Jonathan Lee; sister Barbara Ferrell and husband Ronnie of Moore, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends who love her will miss her.
