Dakota Patrick McCray of Proctorville, Ohio went to be with our Lord on Wednesday November 27, 2013. Dakota was born March 26, 1993 in Charleston, WV. He is the son of Michael S. McCray and Roxana Norman. Dakota graduated from Collins Career Center and Fairland High school in 2013. He was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church. Dakota is survived by his father Michael S. McCray and Danielle McCray, sister Sophia McCray of Proctorville, OH and his mother Roxana Norman and Cedric Norman of Dallas NC. He also leaves his paternal grandparents Ned and Sharolyn McCray of Proctorville, OH, his maternal grandparents Mack and Beulah Carnes of Elkview, WV. He is also survived by his grandmother Judy Withrow of St. Albans, WV. Dakota is also survived by his uncles Andrew D. McCray of Asheville, NC and Carl W. Withrow II of St. Albans, WV, his aunts Staci Carnes of Elkview, WV, Barbara McCray of Dayton, OH and Leighann Hamrick of Charleston, WV., cousins Brian McCray of Tempe, AZ, Taylar Carnes and Levi Summers of Elkview, WV. He is preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Casey Ryan Walls, Corey Lee Walls, and his uncle Edwin A McCray and his grandfather Carl W. Withrow. A tribute to the life of Dakota McCray will be held at Highlawn Presbyterian church on Saturday November 30, 2013 at 1:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held on Friday in Parkersburg, WV. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Dakotas name to the Highlawn Presbyterian Church. Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
