1949 - 2013
 Danny Joe Wells, 64, of Bloomingburg, Ohio, formerly of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away the evening of November 27, 2013 at his residence. Born November 21, 1949 in Huntington, WV, he was the son of Betty Wells Hoggett of Proctorville, Ohio and the late James Wells. Danny was a military vet, proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years, retiring as Senior Master Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Karen Bragg Wells. Also preceded in death by special grandmother, Helen Richardson (Nanny). Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Misty and Luke Anders also of Bloomingburg, Ohio and Amy and Bryan Balsimo of Canal Winchester, Ohio. He has a sister Melody Wells Spears (Gale) and brother Greg Wells (Nancy) both of Proctorville, Ohio. Danny has six grandchildren; Ashley Smith (Joshua), Jacob, Daniel, and Natalie Anders, Brady and Kara Balsimo; three great grandchildren; Tyler, Tristen and Trace Smith. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the many friends that have greatly loved and supported us through this time. We would love to name them all; but special mention to Penny Sanders, Charlenea Leach, Ray and Jan Campbell, Gary Allen, Charles and Donna Gamble and Tom Durflinger and many more extended friends. We love you and thank you. Funeral service will held 2 p.m. Sunday December 1, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Jones of Beulah Baptist officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery Proctorville, Ohio. Proctorville VFW Post #6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice 56 South Oak Street, London, Ohio 43140. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall. |
