Jack Carlton JeffcoatFuneral services for Jack Carlton Jeffcoat, 83, of Warren will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Warren with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at Farmer Funeral Home.

Mr. Jeffcoat died December 3, 2013 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.

A native of Fred, Jack was a lifelong resident of the Fred/Warren area. He worked out of Local 125 as an iron worker before retiring. Mr. Jeffcoat proudly served his country in the US Navy.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents Frank Thomas and Estelle Elkins Jeffcoat; daughter Phyllis Jeffcoat; brothers Lee Jeffcoat, Oliver "Booger" Jeffcoat, Pete Jeffcoat, Bronson "Bunk" Jeffcoat and Doug Jeffcoat; and sisters Alise Carraway and Demples Delaney.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Jean Jeffcoat of Warren; sons Gary Jeffcoat and Michael Jeffcoat, both of Warren; daughters Glenda Starr and husband George of San Antonio and Becky Viator and husband Keith of Spring; brother Sam Jeffcoat and wife Alice of Fred; sisters Lilly Verle Krumnow of Marshall and Rannie 'Kat' Barraque of Houston; eight grandchildren Edward Starr, Alisha Steltz, Tiffany Jeffcoat, Ashley Jeffcoat, Ryan Jeffcoat, Josh Viator, Lauren Viator, and Brylea Jeffcoat one great grandchild Kaylar Steltz, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Jack will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
