Funeral services for Jimmy Keith Mitchell Sr, 82, of Woodville, will be 12 Noon, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Lakeside Apostolic Church in Dam B with interment following in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 am Thursday until time of service.
Mr. Mitchell died December 10, 2013 at his residence.
A native of Loeb, Mr. Mitchell was a long time resident of Tyler County. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Navy. Jimmy was employed by Louis Russell Construction before retiring and was a member of Lakeside Apostolic Church.
Survivors include his wife Joyce Harris Mitchell of Woodville; son Jimmy K. Mitchell Jr and wife Lois of Pensacola FL; daughter Linda Bertrand and husband Ralph of Lumberton; brother Kenneth L Mitchell and wife Barbara of Lumberton; sister Dorothy McKnight and husband Alvin of Lumberton; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
