Funeral services for Marvin P. Garcia, 72, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 16, 2013 at Freedom Fellowship Church in Silsbee with interment following in Knupple Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Garcia died December 14, 2013 at Pine Arbor Healthcare in Silsbee.
A native of Lufkin, he was a long time resident of Silsbee. Marvin worked as a crane technician for American Crane and Rigging before retiring. He loved to travel and was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his beloved wife of almost 13 years, Bobbie Jones Garcia of Silsbee; daughters Donnah Welker and husband Dan of Silsbee, Angela Tucker and husband Phillip of Big Sandy and Brooke Lavender and husband David of Brookeland; grandchildren Jamie Clements and husband Joseph, Bryan Welker and wife Jennifer, Laura Tucker, Brandon Mallett and Sarah Mallett and great grandchildren Cade, Keaton and McKenzie Clements, Maverick Welker, Daniel Tingle and are expecting Mallory Welker in January.
