James David Cade Sr. Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1942 - 2013 Funeral services for James David Cade Sr, 70, of Vidor will be 2:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be from11:00 am until 1:30 pm Friday at Farmer Funeral Home. Mr. Cade died December 16, 2013 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, David was a longtime resident of Vidor. He worked in construction and proudly served his country in the US Army. Mr. Cade is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde David and Alice Earline Hampshire Cade and brother Howard Chestine Cade. Survivors include his beloved wife of 12 years, Penny Edwards Cade of Vidor; sons Terry Lynn Cade of Beaumont, James David Cade Jr and wife Tabitha of Morgantown, KY, Jeff David Cade and wife Lauren of Vidor and Christopher Wayne Cade of Beaumont; brother Melvin Douglas Cade and wife Linda Sue of Vidor and eight grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Been about 26 years since I last saw you and the family. I lived down the street from James and his family in Vidor the Smith's were my grandparents. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
