A memorial service for Clara Powell, 80, of Silsbee will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 27, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Silsbee and officiated by Dr. Scott Moody.
Mrs. Powell passed away December 23, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
A native of Walston Ark, Clara had lived in Silsbee for 39 years and worked at Market Basket as a meat wrapper. She was a long time member of the Eastern Stars.
Waiting with open arms for Mrs. Powell are her parents, Barney H and Annie Conger Dillard; husband and father of her children, Edwin William Davids Jr.; husband Glen Ray Powell; brothers Hubert Dillard and Donald Dillard and sister Carolyn McNeely.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Dennis Davids and wife Sue of Jacksonville FL, Robert Davids and wife Pam of Silsbee and William Davids and wife Tamera of Silsbee; sister Vonice Baker of Pearland; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
