 Alice Faye Hutchison Ellis Fischer, 65, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Jo-Lin Health Center, Ironton, Ohio. She was born May 12, 1948 in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Meade and one sister Jannette Breeding. She is survived by her husband Wendell Fischer; daughter Melissa (Anthony) Riggio; son Eric Ellis; six grandchildren Emily Riggio, Ancil and Cornelius Lambert, Nick, Judson and Elijah Rose; two step children Angela Pearson and Elizabeth (Sam) Rose; and many special friends. She was a member of Fairland Southern Baptist Church and a member of Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from St. Marys Medical Center as a home health nurse. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Cullen Chesser. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall. |

Wendell, I am so sorry to hear about Alice's passing. I know how much she loved you and how much you loved her, too. Missy and Eric, I knew your mother through your Aunt Jan. Jan and I were very close friends for over 35 years. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mother was a very kind, compassionate and loving person. I pray the the Lord will comfort all of you during this difficult time.

Eric,I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother! I know she was an amazing woman and you loved her very much, as she loved you! You are such a joy to be around and that is because yo Momma raised you that way! Melissa is the same way. You both are wonderful kids, who were brought up by an amazing, kind woman. May she rest in Peace, and i hope you find comfort knowing that she will always be your Angel. I love you all!

Wendell, Missy and Eric, I know this is so hard for you. Take comfort in knowing that Alice knew Jesus, and portrayed His goodness and love through her actions, words and deeds. She loved her patients and gave her best. She also loved you with all her heart. Don't ever forget that. Cling to each other and to God.
