Georgia Mae Singer, 92, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Rivers Bend Health Care Center, South Point, Ohio. She was born December 21, 1921 daughter of the late Caughlia and Gracie Ferris Hunt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Edward Adkins, Sr.; son-in-law Fred Hayes, Sr.; and nine siblings. She was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was an avid bowler. She is survived by her daughter Patty Hayes of Proctorville, Ohio; her son Paul Adkins, Jr of Clay County, WV; two grandchildren Freddie (Bethany) Hayes and Jama (Frank) Whittaker; four great grandchildren Kayla and Meranda Hayes, Cole Whittaker, Amanda (Robby) Mattix; one great great grandson Gabe Mattix; one sister Geneva Shank; one brother Paul Hunt; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Rivers Bend Health Care Center workers and staff for their great care of Georgia for over 25 years. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Brady Lipscomb. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
