Margaret Smith, 83, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at home. She was born April 13, 1930 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Clay E. and Rosa Lee Sowards Swann. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kimball Smith; her son Kimball Smith, Jr.; and three brothers Raymond Swann, Clay Eugene Swann and Sidney Swann. She is survived by two sons Harry C. (Kathy) Smith of Chesapeake, Ohio and Jim Smith of Proctorville, Ohio; one granddaughter Kim (Matt) Davidson of Proctorville, Ohio; two great grandsons Jacob and Benjamin Davidson; three sisters Marlene (Gene) Snyder of Florida, Marzella (Gene) Zumalt of Texas, Marjorie (Donald) Blair of South Point, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Harold Hamlin. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
